While at this summer's NFA convention, I obtained Classic Duets for Flute, Volume 2, selected and introduced by Mary Karen Clardy. I already had Volume 1 so I was happy to add this new volume to my collection. The book is published by Universal Editions which is now distributed by Theodore Presser in the US.
This publication contains 88 pages of lovely and diverse duets by
Telemann, Quantz, Bach, Devienne, and Koehler. They're great for use with intermediate students or beyond. Composer biographies and performance suggestions are included in English, German, and French at the beginning of the book.
